Now that I have a fine, wide format Epson R2400 printer, I’m looking for tips on good places to buy archival papers for photo printing. Epson’s sampler pack of papers worked well for me. I’m also pleased with Legion Digital Rag and Legion Matte. I use both glossy and matte papers.
As for other considerations, I’d like recommended papers to have a weight of 250 – 300 gsm (grams per square meter). Standard papers for photocopying, etc. are around 80 gsm.
I’m wary of fine art papers that use optical brighteners, which may yellow with age.
I’m also checking around for sources of Inkjet cartridges either Epson, or 3rd party. Any tips and recommendations you send my way will be appreciated. Thanks!
